Jess Sherman – Nutritionist

Jess’s particular expertise is in helping parents feed themselves and their kids for better emotional, mental and physical health.

By helping parents better understand how food influences the growing body she can help address some of the nutrition-related issues underlying many childhood concerns like:

autistic behaviour
allergies and sensitivities
picky eating
learning struggles
aggression and explosive behaviour
mood swings

digestive pain

She also coaches parents and parents-to-be about nutrition for pregnancy and early childhood, including introducing foods to babies, maternal recovery and “baby blues”.

Jess has been a Holistic Nutrition Professional since 2007. She also holds a masters degree in education from OISE in Toronto and is a member of The Canadian Association of Holistic Nutrition Professionals (CAHN-pro). She has pursued extra training in digestive health, autism spectrum disorders, nutritional approaches to mental health, traditional food preparation and functional medicine.
