Also worked with dementia and Alzheimer’s patients.
In the last year, Silvia was able to experience working in a clinic setting as a PTA. The most recurrent cases were post-knee replacement, patellofemoral pain syndrome, ankle sprain, knee sprains, meniscus injuries, shoulder tendonitis, Frozen shoulder, carpal tunnel, spine derangement and disc diseases.
After becoming a Physiotherapist Resident, Silvia is persueing her dream to become a Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist. She will be treating patients with both orthopaedic injuries and pelvic floor dysfunctions. She is also experienced in cupping and tapping.
Silvia believes in a multidisciplinary approach where the patients are seen as whole.
When not working, Silvia enjoys to spend some quality time with her family and is passionate about traveling.
